Ataraxia Pavilion

The Ataraxia Pavilion is a religious-inspired pavilion located in Sugarhouse Park, Salt Lake City. It is modelled after concepts garnered from Islam. It is formally composed of three congregated blocks of concrete - communicated as if they were one block separated into three.

Initial studies into the culture and religion of Islam led me to design a 3D artifact symbolic of the five pillars of Islam.
