Glacial Armature

The Glacial Armature is a study in human proportion. It's intended as a charrette challenge to contain, repel, or interact with water as an attachment to the human body.

Focusing on the process of compression that glaciers undergo, the piece is formed of two materials; a blue acrylic mold to represent glacial ice, and fresh snow pocketed in the molds.
